Autism Evaluations for Adults

Comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming assessments conducted entirely via telehealth

What is an Autism Evaluation?

An autism evaluation is a comprehensive assessment designed to explore whether autism may be a factor in how you experience the world. For many adults, receiving a diagnosis later in life brings clarity, validation, and a deeper sense of self-understanding.

My evaluations are conducted entirely via telehealth and are designed for verbal adults seeking an initial diagnosis. I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach throughout the process — my goal is not to label or pathologize, but to provide you with accurate, meaningful information about your neurotype. The process includes clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and a detailed written report with diagnostic impressions and recommendations.

The Evaluation Process

01

Initial Intake Appointment

We begin with a thorough clinical interview to review your developmental history, current concerns, and personal goals for the evaluation. This session helps me understand your unique background and tailor the assessment accordingly.

02

Testing Session

A focused testing session (typically around 2 hours) conducted via telehealth, using standardized assessment tools including structured observation and questionnaires. You do not need to prepare anything special — just show up as yourself.

03

Feedback & Final Report

You will receive a comprehensive written report with diagnostic impressions, detailed findings, and individualized recommendations. We then meet to walk through the report together, answer your questions, and discuss next steps.

The full process typically spans 4–6 weeks from initial intake to your feedback session, depending on scheduling and report preparation time.
